NYC – The Great GoogaMooga: M. Wells’ Horse Bologna Foie Gras Grilled Cheese

M. Wells, located in GoogaMooga’s Tony’s Corner–a selection of restaurants curated by Anthony Bourdain, served a Horse Bologna Foie Gras Grilled Cheese.
M. Wells was opened by by husband-and-wife team Canadian-born Hugue Dufour, an alum of Montreal’s Au Pied de Cochon, and Queens native Sarah Obraitis in a gutted and redesigned chrome-sided diner in Long Island City in 2010. Québécois influenced restaurant made a big splash with critics and diners before losing their lease in August, 2011.
The first Great GoogaMooga Festival was held on May 19 and May 20, 2012 in Prospect Park’s Neathermead Meadow. Billed as "an amusement of food and drink", the two-day show was run by Superfly Productions, the organizing group behind the Bonnaroo and Outside Lands festivals, and featured approximately 75 food vendors, 35 brewers, 30 winemakers and 20 live music performances.
